"To be able to display search attributes on a query display rather than have to display a search form then the query results and use filters to get where you want to."
The issue for me here is the delay in displaying information on a mobile when the query results are large. So I'd like a search button like a lot of apps have at the top of the screen which then executes a query, rather than displaying a large number of query rows and have a user then filter what they want. Or if you could display say first 20 records but the filter works off the full query results and not the first 20 displayed. Does that make sense?
"Place a menu that fills the screen and is scrollable and have submenus."
Presently if you have a top level menu only it fills the full width of the screen which looks good. However if you make just one of the menu options open another menu folder then the top menu is displayed in just half the screen width which looks awful. Also if the number of menu items exceeds the screen height then the menu becomes unworkable if you try and scroll down it.
"Have control buttons such as forward/back etc."
Why not user browser buttons for forward and back and what's in etc?
Its currently very difficult to work with a BO form which has references. Staring with a query then opening a BO form and then opening a reference item the buttons do not always display in wanting to move between records. Etc means first and last records in list.
"Be able to use icons"
Can't you use them already?
I'll get back to you on this one as the work in some places but not others.
"Take multiple photos then upload and be able to convert the photo sizes before upload (choose from small, medium etc)."
You can use current image scaling functions to do this
Yes you can but its after the photo has uploaded so it takes ages to still upload a photo. Its the upload time not the storage space that I want to save on. Id prefer the photo to be uploaded as a small photo size.
"Be able to EASILY turn your AwareIM app into a mobile app (PhoneGap)."
What do you mean "easily"? The current process is already as easy as it can get. There is no way to bypass the PhoneGap build process and everything that goes with it.
I've tried several times to do the process and failed every time. Maybe my lack of understanding or maybe I just need more detailed notes or demo.
"Be able to zoom attachments and photos."
How do you zoom attachments?
If I open up my GMail on my phone and it has a pdf attachment it will download it and allow me to open it up and pinch the screen to change the size.
