the version requires MASSIVE testing of the new Config. Tool
From my POV (an Aware's developer), there should be two distinctive testing methodology, (I did that for 3 months with V7 and was very effective).
One test cycle should be solely based on a NEW app from ground up. And it would be best if tester can do the same on V7.x to see if the results were the same. I did that with V7 vs. V6 and reported bugs.
Second, perhaps after the success of the first cycle, is to import V7.x into V8 and test from start to finish. This might be a bit more painful if you have to do conversion at the same time. Again, for best result this should be done V8 vs. V7.
Suggestion to Support; It would be very helpful [before beta release] to make a long and extensive video that covers all the changes and a tutorial as well. This will save support a lot of time answering questions over & over based on new changes. A one/two hour video can save hundreds of Support's time.
