It was clearly a memory problem before - maybe you need to increase it further.

What is the output of both Tomcat and Aware IM server when it is spinning?

Have had similar, can't remember exact fix (not at PC at moment so can't see notes), but it is a combination of tomcat settings (startup files) AND MySQL (or database).... we fixed it with settings changes, also limited our user uploads to 30mb (assuming you want to)

Can you please provide the details of what you did to fix this.

I have some large files (pdf drawings) that are greater than 30mb. I can upload them but it fails when I then try to view them with a DISPLAY DOCUMENT process.

We found a problem uploading images larger than 64Mb - it turns out these images break the limit of the JMS broker that Aware IM uses. An attempt to upload such a file can completely kill the Aware IM server.

The latest build of version 8.0 (2346) addresses the problem. Now if you want to load images larger than 64Mb add the following line to your AwareIM/bin/BASServer.props and restart Aware IM:

JMS_BROKER_MEMORY=ValueInBytesOfTheLargestFile

for example:
JMS_BROKER_MEMORY=250000000

This was the root cause of one of our servers being periodically killed . 🙁

Support, is there a work-around to get this memory setting into version 7.1. as this setting is being ignored
We have the paid for 8.0 upgrade but don't want to do the install just yet
