View Object vs VIEW

Why does the View Object item operation work differently than the VIEW in a rule?

For example View Object item operation when selected on a particular item will show the item and has the traversal arrows to move across multiple records. When doing a FIND that finds multiple records, followed by a VIEW in a rule, you just get the record, but no traversal buttons.

Is this supposed to be this way? Is there a way to get traversal buttons with VIEW?

I'm here. And I just noticed this about a week ago.
here's another way to see it. (or describe it)

Display a Query on a BO.
Edit one of the records via "Operations on Records" (an Edit button, or Edit as the default action)
In the Panel Toolbox (usually in upper right) are traversal buttons (next, prev, etc.)

You can step through the records from the grid using these buttons - no need to CLOSE and Click/Edit another record to come back to the form.

The Edit uses VIEW OBJECT, which is what the OP is referring to.
