Build 2361 Upgrade Problem

I just upgraded from 2359 to 2361 and now I cannot log into the configuration tool.... I installed in the same directory as previous version. Now my BSV is not showing and ID/PWD does not work. I am seeing the following error in the log:

Unable to determine business space version for user

HELP!

For what it is worth, I had a similar problem when V7 was released.

Just in case, I now take a complete copy of the entire AwareIM Folder before EVERY update.
Not that it has ever happened again, but restoring the copy is cheap insurance.

I learned this lesson the hard way. But hard lessens are never forgotten. 🙂

The only problem that the upgrade can create (in theory) is that you lose your current database settings and instead of connecting to MySQL, for example, you will be connected to the default Derby database. In this case you just need to restore your proper database settings and restart.

An upgrade will NEVER EVER change your database or BSV structure.

I have an issue with 2361 as well, the v8 configurator is connecting to my v6.0 database and is asking for v.60 credentials. v6 uses mysql 5.5 port 3306.

The aware 8.0 database is set up for mysql 5.7 port 3308. Control panel database settings reflect this.
I'm getting 'Access Denied' with the default admin password combination.

There are no problems with build 2361 as far as connection is concerned. You must have some problem specific to your setup.
