Retain Grid Filter After Edit

When you filter a grid then select a record for edit then close the record, you are returned to an unfiltered grid. I see no options on this. Might there be a script/method for the grid that would retain the filter?

I checked 2 different v8 systems - I do NOT see that behavior.
Grid showing all recs. Enter a filter. Click on line for default action OR click EDIT button.
Modifying a field, saving, closing all return me to the SAME filtered grid (w/refreshed data) as expected.

Just about the same issue.

Visual perspective with 2 tabs in Main.
Case 1
Query opens initially in a tab in a visual perspective.
Filter the grid - edit or close returns to an unfiltered grid.

Case 2
Open same query again from menu this time into a NEW TAB.
Filter the grid - edit or close returns now to a filtered grid.
However, no filters show to be cleared. Can't get rid of the filter.

Please update to the latest version 8.0 build (2375) and see if you still experience this problem.

If you do please send the BSV for testing that demonstrates the problem to support@awareim.com (with the description how to reproduce the problem in the BSV)

We will fix the problem when you return to the filtered query displayed in the new tab in the next build. We cannot fix the problem when the query is displayed as part of the original perspective, so this will remain a limitation
