Filter a List Based on its appearance in another List

This seems like it should be straightforward but...

I have two BOs
Country
TaxType attributes:
Active=Y/N and ps_Country
ps_Country=Peer Relationship to Country

I want the user to select a Country and then Select the TaxType

I also want the Country list to be filtered down only to those Country instances that appear in the TaxType.ps_Country.

I have tried

FIND Country WHERE Country IN TaxType.ps_Country but it is bringing back an empty list

As a bonus I'd like the list further filtered on TaxType.Active='Yes'

I seem to have forgotten everything I thought I knew...

If I understand correctly: A user selects a country from all country BOs, then selects a tax type BO that has this country BO as a relation to it, is that right?

If so:

FIND TaxType WHERE Country IN TaxType.ps_Country

You can add - AND TaxType.Active='Yes'

I would think your issue is perhaps because you have entered a country, which is in context, and haven't selected a TaxType yet, so there is no TaxType in context to view related list for.

I'm trying to make it a little more user friendly.

I don't want all the Countries to be returned, I only want Countries where there is a TaxType in existence.

Show Countries only where there is an active TaxType for that Country

Ah, so then this might work:

FIND Country WHERE EXISTS TaxType WHERE (Country IN TaxType.ps_Country AND TaxType.Active='Yes')
