1 page report generates 100 blank pages

Hello,

I have a simple 1-page report to print inventory tags.
6 tags per page for the same inventory item.
Report prints but is creating 100 blank pages after the 1st page.

I am doing a Create Document Operation from a query and the button to create the report is on the row.
Not sure how or why this is happening, any idea's?

At least it is opening to a PDF it's not going directly to the printer.
For now, you can just print the first page as a work around but I know the users will not like that as a permanent solution. There has to be a reason for the 100 blank pages.

I was kidding, but somehow it's iterating through the loop more than once.

You probably have something in the wrong band. I've been there. Can help in a Skype session is needed. Eastern time.

Print out is 1 page of Blank Tags or Inventory Tags for a single inventory item. See attached screen shot of printout.
Blank space on Tag is for writing additional info.

The only Band, I am using is Detail. All other bands are set to a height of zero (0)
Margins are Top 10, Bottom 0, Left 10, Right 10

If I set the Bottom margin to 5 I get an error that Bands do not fit on the page even though I am only using the Detail Band.
The only thing I can think of doing is making each tag smaller so I can fit a bottom margin.

The report writer is black art, no one knows for sure why things happen, BUT we have had this 100 page issue before...

If memory serves me correct I "think" it means your band/s height adds up to more than the height of a page, definitely need to be "neat" with your elements, and keep them very small.. making each tag smaller - as you have suggested - is a good start.

Plus, best trouble shooting is to cut the thing in half (eg copy your report and to keep it, then delete half the elements), and test, and keep going until you find the culprit.

That's the direction I thought I might have to go in.
Even though I have all bands but the Detail band turned off I think Aware still need some space for them plus I have very tight margins.
