Tenancy Registration Question

Newbie here. I've spent the whole week slogging through setting up registration in a tenancy app and I'm almost there, but I have one last hurdle that I can't seem to get over that relates to auto-logging the user in after they register. Here's the process I created that runs in one step, but I broke out for explanatory purposes:

(1) Have the user come in at the guest access level and use a non-persisted BO with it's own form/rules to collect registration information. Initialize a URL attribute from domain, username and password.

ENTER NEW Registration USING Main
Registration.URL='localhost:8080/logonOp.aw?domain=Plantain&username='+Registration.Username+'&password='+Registration.Pass

(2) With the information from the registration form, create several BO instances needed for the registration.

CREATE Person WITH Person.Name=Registration.Name,Person.EmailAddress=Registration.Email,Person.LoginName=Registration.Username,Person.Password=Registration.Pass,Person.Architecture='Responsible (Full)',Person.AccessLevel='Admin',Person.AssignedSubscription='Yes'
CREATE Account WITH Account.Name=Registration.OrganizationName,Account.Complexity=Registration.Complexity,Account.MainPhone=Registration.MainPhone,Account.ps_PrimaryContact=Person,Account.NumberOfSubscriptions=5,Account.NumberOfAssignees=1

CREATE Subscription WITH Subscription.NumberOfSubscriptions=5,Subscription.ob_Account=Account,Subscription.Rate=0,Subscription.Renew='Annual',Subscription.TotalCost=0
CREATE Entity WITH Entity.Name=Account.Name,Entity.ob_Account=Account
CREATE Enterprise WITH Enterprise.ob_Account=Account,Enterprise.Name='Default'

Works as intended.

(3) Login the user with the URL generated in (1).

DISPLAY URL Registration.URL IN CURRENT TAB

This doesn't do anything. I'm still in the guest VP and no error is triggered. Any ideas?

BTW, in order to go in as guest, I can't do it under test. The URL parameter "testingMode=true" doesn't work and takes me straight to production, so I added the process to the admin access level and also test in production.

Also FYI, I learned that adding a non-persisted BO to the SystemUser group is a bad idea. 😃

1) Have you taken the URL that is stored in Registration.URL and pasted it into a browser? Need to narrow down if you have a URL construction issue or something else.
2) Is Registration.URL in context when you execute it?
3) You could also try DISPLAY Registration.URL just to see what appears.
4) Have you checked access level to Registration BO and URL attribute?

The User Guide shows userName= and not username- in the URL parameter name.

Thanks Tom! Good catch on the "N". I also forgot to include "AwareIM". I tried entering the URL in the browser per your suggestion and it worked, but it still doesn't work in code.

I tried "DISPLAY Registration", but I get a syntax error in the configurator, which doesn't recognize it as a BO because of non-persistence. It thinks "Registration" is a missing query. Must be a bug in the configurator.

When I remove IN CURRENT TAB, I get a new tab with the correct URL...except I get a blank screen. When I refresh, I get the "Invalid credentials..." message. I'm sure this relates to the recently discovered fact that my single-user license on my local machine is restricted to one browser login per session (which includes the guest "login").

I tried adding the line, "LOGOUT LoggedInSystemUser" right before "DISPLAY URL...". But then the process hung." So I can't verify in either test or production on my local machine, but I believe I finally have a solution for when I push to the production server.

but I believe I finally have a solution for when I push to the production server.

Sounds like you'll need to push to production server to test it.

So I FINALLY pushed to the production server to test registration from guest access and it didn't work there either. It does everything else perfectly, but when it comes to the last line of code, it just seems to ignore it and I remain in logonGuest.

Here is the last line of code in its current incarnation:

DISPLAY URL 'https://cm.plantain.app/logonOp.aw?e='+ENCRYPT_B64('domain=Plantain&userName='+LoginRegistration.Username+'&password='+LoginRegistration.Pass+'&testingMode=false') IN MAIN WINDOW

Does it not work because I need to log out first? I saw there's a Javascript logout function where you can specify the URL of the logout page. Do I need to do that?
