Hi Support,

I know you just released v8 and I congratulate for that. I know it was a huge work and you deserve a "small" break 🙂, but:

I would appreciate if you could publish a Roadmap for next period:

When next release will be available (not exact date, aprox. month will be great)
A list with intended features

Would be great if you would create on your website a Page related to this subject.
Also, regarding to the changelog, I know it's available on a link, but that link would be better to be a menu inside awareim.com. Even for new coming users when they see that are changes regularly, gives confidence in the product.
From my point of view, when I search for a product, I try to find when was the last update and what is the strategy. If the product was not update in last months, a question mark is rising, when a year passed from last update I don't bother to test it anymore.

I see this kind of approach to many products in IT world and sincerely gives me confidence in those products.

Anyone else consider this would be nice to know?

I absolutely agree with your suggestions George;

Personally, I really need to schedule my product release based on when 8.1 is going to be out (approximate month). As of now, I can't use Aware Picture storage system in DB, as in my case I have to store lots of pictures and doing so in DB, it kills the server resources. So, as I stated in my wish list for 8.1, Picture FILE SYSTEM with all the current features of Picture type is mandatory for me.

Every software company has road maps for all 4 quarters on their web site to show the world, he product is in active development.

I chose AwareIM 10 years ago not only due to the feature set it offered at a reasonable price point, but more importantly Vladimir's availability and responsiveness to communicate with users. Since that time I have continued to be very impressed by their responsiveness to the ways that users (largely via forums) want to see AwareIM's feature set and usability grow and expand.

Keep up the great work!

And by the way ... I'd LOVE to see John's post of "a checkbox for EVERYTHING" be part of the ultimate roadmap. 🙂
