The video is a bit hard to follow without sound, so I am not sure which features it is actually showcasing.
I noticed one - form save without a "redraw". What did I miss?
Form save without a redraw is not possible in a general case because there may be fields on the form calculated by rules when the form is saved. The current redraw is already implement by AJAX, so it is not too intrusive.
However, I suppose, if a developer knows upfront that the form does not have any recalculated fields he can indicate somewhere in form properties that the form should not redraw. This will make it error-prone, though, as I am sure we will be getting reports as to why a field has not been re-calculated - people will forget to untick the "no-redraw" option when they add more fields to the form and it becomes "re-calculatable".
