Is there a straightforward way to ... Find the maximum value of the first X rows in a BO

Something like ....

MAX Appointment.Date WHERE (Appointment IN Program.Appointments) ORDER BY Appointment.Date Asc Take Best 2

Well I'm guessing that syntax must not have worked or you wouldn't have asked the question.

This would be a two step process, but you could

FIND Appointment WHERE (Appointment IN Program.Appointments) ORDER BY Appointment.Date Asc Take Best 2
INSERT Appointment IN LoggedInRegularUser.ApptHolder

then use MAX function to find the max in ApptHolder reference BO.

Jon, if you decide to go with Tom's way, be sure to clear/delete all the objects in the ApptHolder object.
