you can direct output to any panel, of any tab, of any frame. but you would need to use HTML cells/buttons. eg.:
if initiated from a form:
onclick="AwareApp.startProcessFromForm('process_name', 'render_option', html_elem, save_flag)
html_elem is always the word, this
save_flag is either the word, true, or, false = saves or not the Instance contained in the form before starting the process
if not:
onclick="AwareApp.startProcess2('process_name', 'object_name', instance_ID, 'render_option')"
..instance_ID would be {ID}
Per user Guide:
..starts the process with the specified name and writes the specified object instance into context, and displays any output of the process according to the render option.
render_option can either be:
- main - any output will be displayed in the main page replacing the current contents (use this if there isn't going to be any output)
- new_tab - any output will be displayed in a new closeable tab
...or,
- AwareApp.getPanelId('frame_name', 'tab_name', 'panel_name') <- obviously don't enclose function in ' '
I think frame_name has to be lower case.
