I have noticed an issue with query refreshing.
If Panel Operations/Buttons that relate to the query that are conditional on a value of a related BO, these do not refresh when the query refreshes.
See attached BSV.
Create two Entities from the Menu Bar.
Make one a Building, make the second a Person.
There is a default action to show the form on the right, so there should be a form now with a button "Show Limbs".
Press the Show Limbs button on the form.
This will present the results of a query below.
Select the Person that you created and then press the Show Limbs button again.
There should now be a button to Add Limbs
Select the Building again, notice that the Add Limbs button doesn't go away. That's silly you say, buildings can't have limbs, I'd agree.
Obviously I can put a whole bunch of validation into the button to say
If Entity.Type='Building' REPORT ERROR 'Don't be silly, it's a building'
but that kind of defeats the point of showing and hiding the button and would be contrary to the UI that I am building to only show buttons where actions would be valid.
Obviously what I have shown here is an extremely dumbed down version of my application - so yes I could alternatively force a specific query to run every time, but that will have a negative impact on the end user as they are likely to be switching back and forward between Contact records and would then need to repeatedly keep selecting the same query.
