Exactly. Rebuilding a massive system from V5.9 to V7.1 is a huge undertaking, and in most cases won't neccesarily bring in extra money, so with limited resources time is very restricted which is why the conversion process takes 2 or 3 years if you have a couple of systems to port. Every query needs to be resetup as the buttons duplicate on all queries etc, forms have to be redesigned to accommodate the small changes in Kendo such as Left to Right tabbing and Control Height adding spaces.
Anywayz, not complaining. Just saying that we are busy porting... But it takes time.
In terms of the CSS Overrides... We've currently got 2 for out version 6 App. The first one fixes the space that was removed between dropdown fields and the next field, and the second one fixes the issue described above that caused buttons to dissapear.
Just create a Seperate CSS file (Call it CSSOverrides.css or something), and place it in the Tomcat/AwareIM folder and link it in Startup.
Then add these to the CSS File:
.x-form-item-body {
height: initial !important;
}
.x-panel{
overflow:inherit !important
}
Please note we have not tested this across all browsers but it doesn't seem o cause any problems. Hope that helps.
Kind Regards
