Trying to do something that is a bit non conforming to normal practices here - for good reason. I was just wondering if aware has a function where you can build a string and then evaluate that in a process so aware attempts to run what ever is in the string.
For example set a string like this:
myObj.EvaluateThis='InvoiceHeader'+TRIM(FieldMapping.SupplierName)+'=PreProcess.'+TRIM(FieldMapping.SupplierName)
Then Run that by doing this:
EVALUATE(TRIM(myObj.EvaluateThis)) (EVALUATE being my made up name for the function I need)
if FieldMapping.SupplierName was equal to the text CreditorAccountName for example the string being evaluated would be : InvoiceHeader.CreditorAccountName=PreProcess.CreditorAccountName
This is a basic example of what we need to achieve, the reason for this is due to a complex system we are interfacing to via a custom Java plugin via REST.
