Does AwareIM have any functions that can help map data?
Similar to the import template you can create when importing data but this data will not be imported from a CSV file.
Using a Java Script plugin data will be received from a web service as XML and then written to a BO. The BO's attributes are really just a dump of the XML data. Having Id Numbers Data Values and Field Names the data belongs to.
We then have to take this information and map it so it can be written to the actual BO's i.e. invoice header invoice lines etc.
The layout of the BO shows the data for a single record in a top down format instead of a left to right format. For example:
BO1
Company Number, IDNumber, RecordID, Value, Field Name, etc....
456, 1001, 789, ABC Supplies, Supplier Name
456, 1002, 789, 101 Main Street, Address Line 1
456, 1003, 789, PO Box 400, Address Line 2
456, 1004, 789, 1077, Invoice Number
456, 1005, 789, 06/03/2017, Invoice Date
Etc.... continuing to list each field for an invoice or invoice line items.
BO2 Records for the Invoice line have an IDNumber that points back to BO1 so you know which line items go with which invoice header record.
We need to take this data and write it to a BO so all fields are in one record
Company Number, RecordID, Supplier Name, AddressLine 1, Address Line 2, Invoice Number, Invoice Date.... etc....
456, 789, ABC Supplies, 101 Main Street, PO Box 400, 1007, 06/03/2017 Etc...
Repeat same process for Invoice lines...
Does anyone have any idea's on how this could be done?
