What can I use as a Base app with some built in features

asawyer13

I tried searching but couldn't really find anything. Not exactly sure what to use for keywords.

I know there are some example apps, but didn't really find a complete one that I could use as a base for my app.

I need registration, including activation email, forgot password, change password, remember me (automatically login), login, logout. I am trying to find something that would start me in the right direction with my webapp.

Responsive would be nice as I think I will want that also. I will want to run the webapp under ssl, but that's another story and I did find a couple posts that might help with that.

I purchased AwareIM about 6-7 years, didn't do a darn thing with it. I am now back, and wanting to basically start over.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Thanks
Alan

I never used a sample app as a base. To me, they are good references for when you see a technique you want to implement.
