Child For Save closes parent

Hi Guys,

I have a problem where I have an edit button that pops up a window to edit the record you are on (standard stuff) when I edit the record, I click save and it closes the parent form that the edit but was on originally, but leaves the actual edit for behind - its closing the wrong form... any ideas, seems pretty screwy to me

This may not solve it but I noticed today the save button has a check box option to close after save. I think it is a left over from a change Vlad made and was rolled back... Is it checked, I am not sure on its action if it is? Default is unchecked as it always closes after save.

Thanks for that pointer but it didn't help.
I tried to recreate this problem in a sample bsv but couldn't... need to get it sorted out though and not sure what to do next!

Sorted it, i had a process opening the parent using Edit rather than View
