Jasper Server Community Edition

I just tried installing to my local machine and I have connected it to my mysql database and it created the db and tables it needs...

I am unable to get access to the admin console in the browser. I did point the jasper default properties file to the aware tomcat root folder. Its created the folder in webapps and dumped it files there.

Any hints from those with a jasper crown?

Should I have installed tomcat as a standalone and changed the port? Thx.

Jasper and Aware both default to port 8080. Did you change the port for one of them? (Easier to change the port for aware!)

No i have not changed any ports.

I always thought if the webserver was running on 8080 and the apps are in /awareim and /jasperserver you could run both as the root folder seperated them.

Oh no. My aware install broke after installing Jasper Server..... 🙁
