I am working with a multi step process and am having an issue where it appears the second step is being skipped.
We are working with a BO using a duration and timestamp. We have BO 1 which is created through Process 1. Then on the second BO 2 we have duration and a Timestamp. We create a record from BO 1 using a create statement with BO 1 being listed in the process input. Once the record is (BO 1) created we are trying to create a subrecord which is BO 2.
For each BO 2 we are trying to increase the timestamp by the new duration in BO 2.
We have included this as a three 3 step process where:
Process 1 - Create BO 1,( this works. )
Process 2 - Create BO 2 with time stamp greater than BO 1, (does not work, this should be creating multiple records since we are increamenting by 30 seconds over an 8-10 minute span of time. Same for the next step (Process 3 below))
Process 3 - Create New BO 2 object with time stamp greater than previous time stamp (One which should have been created by Process 2 of the same Business object) by duration. (Process 3 Works and increases by duration when creating multiple records)
The plan is to create BO 2 with a process input of BO2 then we create a new record and increase the timestamp by the duration as part of process 2. Then we proceed to process 3. Process 3 has a process input of BO 2 then it creates a record. Once it is created it is set to increase timestamp by the duration. In each step we insert a reference for the Step the BO is created in this makes a record as a quick reference for troubleshooting which process is firing. We have found that Process 1 and 3 are firing, then 1 additional record is created at the end by process 2 (following process 3's completion) even though each process is referred to at the end of each previous step. We have spent 4 days trying to crack the code as to why process 2 is being skipped and only creates 1 record at the end when both process 3 and 2 share the exact same rules and increase statements along with an "If statement that says object.endtime<object.overallendtime then Process3. And same for 3 back to Process2 after same if statement.
Hopefully someone can help with a little direction.
