Hi,
I am trying to create a new BO (Note) in a popup and link it to a contact and store that in BO (NoteContact) along with some other info. This all works OK if I create the note and save it and then link the contact via my process.
The adding of the contact is done with a panel toolbar button linked to a process. I am using a simple popup form to search and select the contact and set a couple of other attributes that will be required for when the record is saved.
When the new note form is displayed the data has not been saved and I guess no ID created. When I in the same form I select the link contact button and try to link the contact the notecontact is being created without the NoteContact.Note=Note value (because the note ID does not exist yet). So the end result is a note saved with no linked contact/s and a orphaned record linked to the contact with no note information.
What approach should I look at to resolve this? Is there a way to save the note when I select the Link Contact button and not have it close and reopen?
