How do I get the image name after upload?

Hi;

I have an attribute of type document to store image and the option is "file system" where I provide another attribute holding the path and the image name to be stored as.

However, after and upload by user, I see the image was stored in the given directory and the name given (C:\at\abc.jpg), BUT when I display the original attribute on the form it shows the name of the original file uploaded by user like (Horse.jpg).
My question is, how do I get the name of the original file like Horse.jpg that user uploaded?
I tried to do the following and didn't work

MyBo.OriginalName=MyBo.UplodedImage

I created an attribute called it "OriginalName" to store "Horse.jpg" and "UploadImage" is the document type attribute to hold the original image uploaded.

But when I do the above assignment, my Bo.OriginalName attribute is empty.
@Support, how do we get the original name???

I use these three functions on all my Document based objects

Object.FileExtension=FILE_EXTENSION(Object.Document)
Object.FileName=FILE_NAME(Object.Document)
Object.FileSize=FILE_SIZE(Object.Document)

Do you use them as part of the BO rule or in process, after the image was saved
This way, we can now check if Object.filename WAS CHANGED to take certain actions?

Tony, the name that you get back, is that the name of the file user uploaded or is that the name you gave to store the file?

Yes, place the rule on the object and the original file name uploaded will update .
I had these functions custom made a couple of years ago for my document management app, also a scan to form plug- in

Just tested and got the original name. Now I can check to see if the Name has changed, meaning user either deleted the image or changed the image.

Once again, thank you for stepping in. I had forgotten about those functions and the WAS CHANGED on Document or image attribute doesn't work. It always returns true.
