Hide Private Appointment

Hi,

I have a contacts relationship to appointments. I am showing the appointments as a' table' under contacts and I want to hide private appointments if the Appointment.Owner<>LoggedInContact.

I cannot use the standard filter (Filter display items) as I cannot use a condition:

Appointment.Owner<>LoggedInContact

I cannot use READ PROTECT on the appointments table because I cannot use a WHERE filter:

If Appointment.Owner<>LoggedInContact Then READ PROTECT Appointment WHERE  Appointment.Privacy = 'Private' FROM ALL EXCEPT Administrator

The only way I know how to get it done is to have a table for private appointments and one for the others and use a visibility condition to hide the private table.

Is there another way to do this?

Have you tried: Appointment.Owner.ID<>LoggedInContact.ID

How do I use this condition in the query where aim wont let me use a condition, only actions.

I can use a process and call a calendar query and I can get the correct info shown in a vp calendar tab but I cannot when the data is in the section of a form as a table, it looks like WHERE statements (actions) are king.

You should use READ PROTECT:

IF Appointment.Privacy = 'Private' AND Appointment.Owner <> LoggedInSystemUser Then
READ PROTECT Appointment FROM ALL EXCEPT System
