I did that and noticed this:
- Not all new tables are created in DB. There is 1 table "tablename_ref" which was not created (is a reference between 2 tables)
- Old tables are not updated (new fields are not added). I have some errors with "Unknown column in field list".
I think there is a bug in this process or my approach is not ok of creating new versions:
- I have APP_A version 1.1
- I export the APP_A to a app_a.bsv
- I import the app_a.bsv to APP_B
- I modify APP_B (adding new BO's; creating new Attributes in existing BO's)
- I test APP_B
- I export APP_B to app_b.bsv
- I create a "New Minor Version" to APP_A
- I import app_b.bsv to APP_A (or today I followed Tom's advice to access Standard->Upload new version)
- Try to publish.
AwareIM should see that I have added new BO's, creted new attribute, even I delete some attributes should alert with "data loss" and should work with import .bsv, so we could see "review database changes".
@support, please advice on this problem, because is a critical process in developing applications.
