CREATE new Object- changed in 7.1

Hi Support,

The behavior for CREATE new object has changed in 7.1?

Now when I open a form to create new object-> the form is not closed ->the entered data remains completed in the form ->everytime I click "Create" actually creates a new record in DB...

Create New Customer
click the CREATE button several times
Search for customer objects -> You will see that were created as much records as you clicked "CREATE"

Impact: Users doesn't know that every click creates a new record-> result in duplicates records in DB...->NOT OK

I noticed the same thing.

Needed to set Close Form After Save checkbox...

It is definitely a change in behaviour

I still think this is not normal. Vlad says that not closing a popup window allows the user to create an instance without having to open the window again. -->This would be ok IF the form would be empty for new instance, but the form remains filled with previous data, so the user doesn't know that is the new form and he clicks repeatedly on CREATE button--> resulting duplicated of records....

If the form is emptied after clicking "CREATE" --that's normal

Sort of the same thread. I know the CLOSE TAB method was added, but I don't know of a CLOSE POPUP method. I have found some workarounds, and I know in this case, you can tick Close form, but what happens if your popup is not a form?

I'm experiencing the same problem as the user might click save and create multiple records, not knowing the record has already been saved.
After save, it's best to clear the form and a quick none-modal message that object has been saved and user can create the next object.
