Yes, of course. But Mark described it as a 'sign on' page for visitors, where they will not login per say:
"It is a signon system for visitors and the person signing on will not log in per se."
ie. like visitors to a mining site or large company who register their arrival and departure, like is often done by the receptionist or security officer at a building when you first arrive and they ask you to fill out a line in a 'visitor registration book', after which a little strip is torn off and you put it in a plastic pouch and clip it to your jacket, and have to wear it the entire time you're in the building/on-site.
Thus, it wouldn't matter about the Home Page loading so much, especially when timeout isn't just 5 mins. Or, maybe just the sing-on form is refreshed/reloaded as long as all fields are empty. And if they're not empty, then a message alerts that the form will reset in 5 mins if signon hasn't been completed.
But, reloading the Home Page surely mustn't be the only activity that counts.
Displaying an Async Message might also count.
Or Running a process that resolves to nothing might count as'activity'.
