Who has successfully exposed Aware app as a REST Service?

According to Aware's web site, an Aware developer can also expose it's data and app's functionality as a REST service to other third party clients that could consume REST service.

My question is, has anyone developed a Mobile app (or even desktop browser app) with third party SDK like Ionic or Angular or even Kendo that can consume Aware's REST output/service???
Does it work?

Any info you can provide, would be much appreciated.

UPDATE: To extend my question, has anyone built a Mobile app using Ionic and use Aware as a backend REST service?

I posted another thread related to this subject, to see if Aware's implementation of REST service would allow a complete backend solution to other types of clients.
Most importantly, how does a client authenticate itself with server and how will server keeps that caller authenticated in subsequent calls. Is there a session system like with the desktop model?

Has anyone used Aware as a full backend server/service?
