Auto Save inline editing

Hey there,

I have a related BO in my form represented by a table of items. Inline editing is activated and works fine. To save the inline editings i have a panel operation button.

My question is, is there a possibility to save the changed values automatically (e.g. when i leave the field) with AwareIM or do i have to take a closer look at js or jQuery?

I don't know of a way to do it out of the box. JS/jQuery is your best bet.

unless I have totally misinterpreted the scenario, grids with inline editing enabled generally automatically save edits once another field gets focus.
whether or not changes have been saved is indicated by the presence of a red triangle at the top right corner of the field.
and I assume by save automatically.. you mean as in other than by having a 'Save Inline Edits' panel operation button?

There might be my problem. There is only 1 row.

So it seems like I have to get deeper into JS/jQuery.

If you enable "Save Record" panel operation for the grid users will be able to save inline edits by pressing a button representing this operation
