Number attribute: Show one value but store another?

I have an attribute that is a number. I want to allow the user to select from a drop-down one of the options but I want AwareIM to store the value as a predetermined amount.

For example, I want the user to select a choke size (ranging from 1/64ths to 64/64ths). However, what I want to store is the decimal value of that (0.0156 to 1).

Is there way to do this with the 'Choices' feature in the attribute properties? I currently have this setup with a related table but if I can just hard code this into the attribute, it will be one less table I have to worry about/manage.

I would have two Attributes.

MyBO.Choke as a Number (Spinner) min 1 max 64
MyBO.ChokeDecimal Number #.####

Then a Rule on the BO

Convert Choke to Decimal (Dynamic --- in advanced tab)
Condition:
MyBO.Choke WAS CHANGED

Action:
MyBO.ChokeDecimal=MyBO.Choke/64

Thanks! Great idea.

I set the attributes up and created the rule. However, I must have missed something b/c when I update the spinner control nothing happens. I made sure that it is set to dynamic in the advanced tab as well.

I setup two other attributes to update onChange with rules as well on this form and they work fine. Any clue what might be going on?

Here is the rule setup.

It wont dynamically update using a Slider Jose until you Click Save.

Some controls allow save on change but no that one.

If you use a Spinner... It will not change when you up/down arrow but if you click in the Edit box and edit the number then Tab forward or backward then the Rule will
get executed. So, this probably does not serve your purpose in it's current form. You be just as well off having an Edit box and editing the value with a tooltip to the right
advising the user that the valid values are 1-64. The Max / Min limitations should still work

I see, no problem. I will leave as is for now and come back to this later. I may end up just keeping as I had it before.

Jose, Mark's solution works well. I have a similar case of integer entry but user gets to see string descriptive of their choice.
But with advance script you can manipulate the decimal attribute as the integer value changes through JS.
