Multi Column in Query Result with Custom Format

cishpix

I take the sample from CRM.
Can we change the display from

like this below

If yes, what should I change on the code in Body at Data Template on the Query?

Thank you.

Maybe the ListView demo code will give you some ideas ... http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/listview/index

But the ListView widget must first be implemented in Aware before we can use it's properties.
I wish Aware had implemented the listview component into V7? I had asked for it and no reply. The widget already does everything we need.

Aware custom queries use the Kendo ListView control.

You can do this with CSS

It "uses" listview or "behaves like" listview?
In ASP I had used Listview widget and there are a lot of built in properties and features there. You can emulate a list view with CSS and JS, but why not implement the widget and expose the properties to Aware developers. We're missing out lots of features in KendoUI that could be in Aware.

johntalbott

It uses it.

I had asked support for Listview support and they said, maybe in the future. So, not sure what you're saying or how much exposure we have to listview, even if it internally uses it. It become useless for most Aware developers who chose Aware to get away dealing with JS/CSS/HTML.

The Custom Query Results config screen (see below) is configuring a Kendo ListView. Any config options available here are what can be done with the AwareIM config tool. Other configurations would have to be done via script and/or CSS.

I see, so it is used but not fully exposed...
So we are half way there.
John, it's good to have you and your resources here. Much appreciated!

Exactly right. The Kendo ListView demo is an example of using CSS to change the layout.

John, perhaps you can create some training materials (video and samples) how to take Aware's client side to the next level and sell the material. Support is busy with other things, and I think with your talent and knowledge, we have someone who knows client side and can bring it to life.

CalD

Yes please, I could do with that material!

Much appreciated fo you, John.
I will look the code first and will think how to apply it.
