Funny you picked this up mark, this was developed by a company involved with one of our magic clients...

Just on the down low when they showed it to us I asked what happens if I am on level 12 of a 24 floor office building.... they didn't have a great answer at the time. I can see some other issues for practical use as well but it is a cool concept.

As a side note, I was one of the first guys who started with Magic in 1986 (version 2.36), and through the years that I met many Magicians, including our hero (Bruce Lee, Mark Bailey, Keith Canniff and many others), I noticed many were very smart, creative and could think out-of-the-box. That's what Magic forced us to do.
And in Aware we have that ability to do crazy things especially if you know how to write Java code to expand Aware.

Gee 1986... Think I started school that year! 😛 are you still doing any magic or all aware now?

I stopped Magic in 2000, V7.
Once the original architect and brain behind Magic left, no innovation took place, just like when Steve Job passed away at Apple.

We are very fortune to have Vlad (the very genius) active on Aware. It is a huge reason why I use Aware, because I know 'D' man is behind it, unlike Magic.
The biggest mistake with Magic was, when they went public and became greedy and they lost the creator of the product. Everything went down the hill from then.

Would agree with most of that, although generally I believe magic has kept ahead of the curve in most cases since I have been involved - maybe not as far ahead as they once we're but generally they haven't missed - the exception being shitty browser deployment now!!

Magic lost direction many years ago due to being a greedy and selfish company. I was very close to the principles of the company, especially when a bunch of greedy investors and CEOs showed up. They cheated (@#$&*) all their loyal developers who made Magic. This is way before you came to Magic.

I'll take your word for that 😃 one thing for sure - they are still greedy!

I know, that's why they never became anything in the market. Magic was a brilliant idea. They lost all the original developers who brought Magic to market and Magic turned around and screwed us all. Greed is like cancer, it will kill you eventually. Have seen it over and over...
If you live and let live, you will live forever... (spoken from experience) 😃

Onward and upward with aware and hope history doesn't repeat!

My hope as well.

95% of humans are stupid.
3 words is 2 too many for most to remember, and in the correct order, AND spell them correctly.
the odds are against it getting any real momentum.
