Updating a Combo after Add New using Custom Implmentation

Hi All.

I have a form with a Drop Down Combo control.

I want to use Generate Add New via a Custom Implementation because the BO for the Drop Down is related to a completely different BO to the one being Edited.

So, have implemented the ENTER NEW and that works but I am having trouble getting the Drop Down Combo to refresh and include the newly added Item to the list.

I have tried every Refresh option I can think of to no avail.

If it cancel the Form or Save the Form and then re-edit it then the new item is in the list.

Does anyone know a way to have it immediately added to the list please?

Not that I have done it, but perhaps using Stored Procedure can immediately get the items for you.

Found a solution Ben.

Stored the current Owning BO in LoggedinRegularUser.

The used Default Implementation with a Rule on the Drop Down Object.... IS NEW assign owner as LoggedInRegularUser.CurrentParent.

Works perfectly now.
