Date Format on a Form

Imagine you have a date 23/10/16 (or 10/23/16 for the goofy feet amongst us 😉

Now you want that date displayed both on a form and in a query in the form of Sunday 23 Oct 2016 or Sunday 23 October 2016.

In a Query you can add the format as follows, which works fine...

Sunday 23 Oct 2016 from dddd dd MMM yyyy
Sunday 23 October 2016 from dddd dd MMMM yyyy

However, if you want to display the same on a form, the only way I have been able to achieve it is with a html cell
Sunday 23 Oct 2016 from <<DAY_OF_WEEK(Project.DateTest)>> << Project.DateTest,'dd MMM yyyy'>>
Sunday 23 October 2016 from <<DAY_OF_WEEK(Project.DateTest)>> << Project.DateTest,'dd MMMM yyyy'>>

Does anyone know if there is a more elegant way please?
