Now, the bad news, you have to know how to write a SQL Query. If you can do that, then all is good
I have mine set up so no logon is required, so a report run from aware, will pass parameters to Jasper, it will build the required SQL statement(s) (yea, if you have a parent / child relationship, no problem). and display it in a new tab. Fast to write, fast to run. Many many many more options, features, properties than what Aware offers.
Oh yea, did I mention, the price? Free!
