this is confusing:
"After selecting the values needed, I want to display what they've selected before."
but if what you mean is:
"After selecting the values needed, I want to display what they've selected [on the form the PICK FROM popup dialog was invoked from]"
then this is a way, using an order master/detail as an example:
scenario:
OrderHeader BO has an attribute named OrderLines of type OrderLine BO (multiple)
-->ie. OrderHeader owns multiple OrderLine
OrderLine BO has an attribute named Product of type Product BO, as well as obviously an attribute named OrderHeader of type OrderHeader BO
-->ie. attribute named Product has single Peer: Product BO
you don't want the user to have to mundanely enter one OrderLine instance at a time, each time requiring them to select a Product for the OrderLine instance being entered.
you instead want them to be able to 'batch' select all the different products they want on the order, and, once selected, automatically create as many OrderLine instances as required (one for each Product they select).
on OrderHeader form the 'OrderLines" Reference Attribute Grid has a button in its TitleBar (Toolbox) or a Toolbar which runs Process: procSelectProducts
The Input passed to procSelectProducts is OrderHeader
procSelectProducts Rule 1:
Name: ruleSelectProducts
Action 1: PICK ONE OR MORE FROM qrySelectProducts //query showing instances of Product BO
Action 2: CREATE OrderLine FOR EACH Product WITH OrderLine.OrderHeader=OrderHeader,OrderLine.Product=Product[, etc.]
