the tutorial for using CSS/HTML in Aware IM is coming...

Vlad wrote that on Feb 03.
I'm DYING !!!!! to see that. Cannot wait.

Can I just suggest that you try to make it go into MORE depth than the prior vids... just a little bit more? 😃
More examples, because when I watch these vids I want to see more.
Seeing the creator use the tool is great - but always leaves me wanting more.

I know they must be time consuming - I don't see how the hell you have ENOUGH TIME to do what you do, and still be gracious with your time for personal communications with us, forum replies, etc.

We want to see that "never before" seen stuff that makes us want to try your tricks and stay up late into the night!!!
(well, at least I do)

Thanks in advance for all your hard work
Jaymer...

That video was a nice start. It would be helpful to have a few customization examples that require much more advanced Javascript, jQuery, etc.

Example:
In this post .... https://forum.awareim.com/d/8567> ... Jaymer was looking for help to have the background-color of each cell in a column of a standard query display a color based that value of another BO attribute that stores the hex value of the color.

I could get close with a custom query layout, just using OOTB Aware.

With the requirement of using the standard query layout ... I tried:

Using a custom kendo.grid columnTemplate in the Init script, which got me close, but not quite there. I could only get to the CSS of elements I placed in the TD.
I tried referencing the kendo.grid.rowTemplate in the Init script thinking I could do a string function to update it. No worky.
Using jQuery to find all the TDs within the grid, but I never could get it to work. Using console.log ... I appeared that that my jQuery code in the Init and Render scripts was completing before the GET request was complete. I tried binding to the kendo.databound event in the Init and Render scripts so that I could run the code after the GET ... but no dice. My guess is that I it was a scope issue.

My head has been hurting for a few days now ... :?
