In about a month I will show you our eComm B2C website. You will drool. It's like nothing else you've ever seen before in that space.
Are you doing the front-end in Aware?
No. Unfortunately we can't. Aware presently doesn't have enough Settings in order to be able to finitely control the UX so as to be able to deliver a really really refined and elegant UX, which is supremely important in targeting retail consumers who don't have to use an application like business users do
. I think it could in future, but just doesn't right now.
.
For example, the Tab component enhancement Settings I've mentioned previously (..'don't switch to tab' [after opening]; OFFSET FROM CURRENT TAB [tab opening position in tab queue in relation to current tab]; SWITCH TO TAB [Action]; CLOSE TAB [Action]; etc.), where the behavior of tabs can be finitely controlled programmatically/dynamically at runtime in response to user interaction.
I still propose to open a topic formally inviting users to chip in, say, $25 to get this enhancement implemented as a user sponsored enhancement, but have been very busy.
.
And, the currently trapped onHover grid event "When mouse is over record", which currently has Settings Options to Display Values, would need to also have Settings Options: Run Process and Run Query.
You could do useful things if a Process could be run and Actions performed in response to onHover of a query resultset item, AND, not to mention, even onHover of other elements with which the user can interact by clicking/tapping.
.
etc.
