What's cooking at Awaresoft?

I'd like to hear what's happening at Awaresoft development lab and what's coming up in the up coming version.

It really helps shaping the product by having a transparent roadmap than, sharing when the product is all done. By then, it's too late to change/add things around.

Last year at the conference (Las Vegas), Vlad has presented a great road map ( v7).

i don't know if this year was the same in Bali, but yes would be nice to know the future.

I 1000% agree that AwareIM needs a more proactive approach to product communication.

Until very recently, I thought that hybrid mobile apps dev tools were already included. References to building "native" mobile apps with PhoneGap implies hardware integration. Clearer more accurate communication may have prevented this Big Oops!

When will the version that contains this functionality be released? I hope we do not have to wait a year.

I would like to encourage Support to prioritize a complete 64-bit implementation. I see no need for a 32-bit implementation in our world. Many of us run 64-bit implementations and this makes updating our production servers harder. Making this easier may even generate more update/upgrade revenue. 🙂

I don't understand why Support ignores this important installation setup, even after so many people requesting for it for so long. I know for fact, that I lost a prospect (Insurance company) whose requirements were 64-bit and REST support.

I'm running out of memory due to 1 Gig limitation of 32-bit and even Support said that I need to go to 64-bit, but with all these new updates, it's a pain repeating these over and over.
Why doesn't Awaresoft provide a 64-bit installation option? It's very puzzling, even though, they claim "It's easy".

I don't understand the question. Third party tools can already use Aware IM-created tables.

But third party tools, can not establish or recognize the relationships between tables. Secondly, there are no foreign Index Keys created, so the tools can use them for performance.
AwareIM has it's proprietary built in relationships, where as third party tools that are used by analyst or users don't recognize these relationships. i.e. if you MySQL workbench and display the tables, there is no relationships created by the tool to show the relationships.

This is a very simple a straightforward question that has been raised many times.

Thanks, Support, for the "Yes it will", but I am with Ben. If you open a database schema with no foreign keys in Enterprise Architect's DB Modeler, you get a block for each table, with no connections between them. This is the kind of thing he's talking about, and the kind of thing that analysts do all the time.

So, Ben is just asking a clarifying question. For now, I am heartened, and assuming that the answer is, or soon will be, "Yes".

This is the same question as the previous one and it has already been answered - yes, this will be done.

I'm glad this confusion got cleared up!

This feature (if done in a way that any tool can simply open an Aware DB and recognize all the relationships) can also open the door, to other reporting tools like Telerik reporting that advanced users and IT managers who already have Telerik Reporting, be able to create their own from database.
BI tools can freely tap into the data.
Other apps can easily access Aware Data and import them into their own (in one case I recently came across).
