Tomcat message upon starting the server

Has anyone notice this in the Tomcat log when they start the AwareIM Control panel?

If so, has anyone resolve it and how?

Hello Tom,
Yes... I see the notice after read this thread.

For the simple trick just deactivate the tomcat-native from server.xml file on your tomcat/conf.
Uncomment this line

<Listener className="org.apache.catalina.core.AprLifecycleListener" SSLEngine="on" />

and restart your Aware IM Control Panel.

It just optional component (see http://tomcat.apache.org/native-doc/).

I have tried it on default and updated JDK.

Would you like let me know your theory, please? I want to hear it 😉

I was thinking of a time when I did something wrong when installing the 64 bit JDK and got an error something like that. The error points to an issue with the JDK so I would recommend a fresh install and then replace install the 64-bit JDK again - only if you think to may have mucked up the JDK installation...

So... did you still get the info after you fresh install and replace the JDK in your AwareIM?

That's what resolved it. In your case, I suppose you could install to a phantom directory and just copy the JDK folder. You could test it at that point if you want, then go about your 64-bit install.

Actually I think you're right KK. I believe I did it properly now.

I have fix it like your suggest after I copy the files from tomcat-native into JDK/bin and need a bit to fix the SSL on the server.xml file

Many thanks for your suggestion. It's really sort out the issue 😉

it works too on default JDK (32-bit) that come with AwareIM after copy the tomcat-native files into JDK/bin 😉
