Hiding panels on tabs

I have 2 panels on a tab, on my Home page. The first panel is for everyone, and the second panel is only of users who have a specified attribute setting of 'Yes'.

For the life of me, I can't see where to set an "invisible" condition on panels, using the attribute value as the condition. I'm sure I could do this in version 6.

Am I blind?

i agree that the 'invisible when' property is in the 'settings' dialog for frames and tabs, but it doesn't appear to be among the properties in 'properties of selected content panel', irrespective of layout.

..it's a long-shot, but i don't suppose, as an alternative, your application can be adapted to instead display a form in a content panel which has two sections/tabs, and one or both are visible depending on the user Flag.
The feasibility of this of course depends on whether the content you were previously displaying in two content panels was grid/query type content and that can be referenced back to the object from which the form originates.
If this is possible, then you would achieve the same as previous but with a more elegant real estate footprint.

Thanks pureist for the suggestion. I can achieve what I need you by following your suggestion.

Having an "invisible when ..." option for a panel on a tab would be nice though.

Why not just have two diff layouts. One for the peons with only one panel and one for the 'elite' users. Then display the appropriate one?
