The scenario is as follows.
A user executes a query, a list of results is displayed, with each listed item having [Edit] and [View] options. Only rows with BO.Deleted <> "Yes" are listed.
The user chooses the [Edit] option for a listed item, and its details display on the Main form of the business object.
From here, they want a (logical) [Delete] option, but from the user's perspective, i want it to seem like a physical delete. They need to see all the data before deciding whether to delete, hence I don't want the [Delete] as an option on the query results list.
The delete is implemented as a process, which resets BO.Deleted to "Yes".
Problem. After my delete process executes, I still remain on the Main form. This is confusing for the user, because the think they have deleted the data, and yet there it is on the form.
I have reviewed similar past posts, which indicate that there is no way to return to the query result list, rather than the Main form, after the process has run.
Just thought I'd see if someone had come up with a workaround, or v7 has a setting somewhere to control this navigation.
