I have installed Aware IM 7.0 on Google Compute Engine instance. The DefaultApplication BSV works fine.
Then I've put my own BSV into AUTO_DEPLOYMENT directory and restarted the server.
When I visit http://example.com/app/logonAdmin.html and logged in, the default visual perspective for my app is shown. Immediately after that I get "Session has timed out" dialog box.
When I click OK, I'm redirected to http://example.com/AwareIM/logonAdmin.html and get Not Found page. Notice that my install uses /app and the redirect is to /AwareIM.
Aware IM server is installed on http://localhost:8080/AwareIM. I'm using Apache with a reverse proxy to the Aware IM server. I guess the reverse proxy is working since the DefaultApplication BSV works fine.
I have found the setting 'Web directory name' in Build executable. The default is AwareIM. Should I build the executable version of the BSV to deploy to my server (it will be a SaaS on my server) or can I deploy the exported BSV directly?
If using the Build executable, what do I specify for the 'JDK location'? The server is Debian using the default Java installation. Do I specify my local OS X JDK location or the one on the server?
This forum helped me figure out the steps so far. I'll appreciate your help.
