I've been going crazy for two days trying to save a form before starting a process.
The ENTER NEW... AND VIEW was promising but didn't work completely for my scenario:
ENTER NEW Appointment AND VIEW
ENTER NEW Appointment AND VIEW IN TAB
I finally found https://forum.awareim.com/d/8331> and started experimenting.
For me it works using VIEW instead of EDIT after ENTER NEW. It resolved the issue with 'Do you want to cancel current operation' popups:
ENTER NEW Appointment USING AddNew
VIEW Appointment
My scenario: I have an Appointment BO which has Tasks relation attribute to allow multiple Task BOs. Table view for the Tasks attribute has an operation to copy tasks from another Appointment. Appointment must exist before such tasks can be copied to the Tasks attribute (it is not the same as Add New which is covered by Aware IM standard functionality - Thank you for this Awaresoft!).
This forum is full of posts from newcomers like me who would appreciate a 'How To Save Form Before Starting a Process' section in the HowTo.pdf. Support please help us by adding your view on how to do this.
