Yes, it is dynamic, but perhaps I didn't explain the issue.
I have a form, with a few input fields, and one calculated (display only) field. When I change one of the input fields, the dynamic rule will call a SP, which has as part of it: '@TallyUM' = Querys.tallyUM OUT
This updates the field, displays it on the form. However, when I click the save, i get the error of record changed by another process. Since I am editing the Querys BO, there is no reason to have any refresh, since the form has been refreshed by the rule.
Did i explain that better?
Thanks
Bruce
btw, as a work around, instead of having the SP return a value, I have my rule do a calculation like:
Quotes.tallyUM=Quotes.LFtoUM * SUM QuoteTally.qtyLF WHERE (QuoteTally IN Quotes.om_QuoteTally)
This works fine. it is updating the same field that the SP is updating. It seems like some flag is (not) being set when the SP is updating an attribute
