CUSTOM folder gone after upgrade

Hi,

I just upgraded my beta of V7 to the latest build (b2135) and I've noticed that my CUSTOM\CSS<myappname> is gone ?!?

I thought that if you place your own CSS / JS there, any upgrade you do on AWAREIM, the installation won't touch that folder.

Anyone else experience this

I suspect that is just because it is a Beta Chris which I assume behaves similar (if not exactly the same as a Trial version)

I expect that after release when you use you Licensed version then the Custom folder (as well as some other components) will be preserved just like they
currently are in V6.

Support might like to confirm this?

I learned a few beta's ago. to backup whatever I have in my custom folder (esp. the CSS folder) prior to updating the beta... wait.. this does not help you now. I should have mentioned this a few months ago!

I do have a backup, just that I was hoping its already in BETA 🙂

Hi Henrik,

Haven't asked support but after upgrading to V7, Custom folder is there BUT my specific BSV ones are gone.

Will do another install later on and I will try to capture the install process and if it does disappear again, at least support can see it.

Is this happening on a licensed version or the Trial?

I have not tried in a licensed version but has always wiped out in the Trial and Beta.

I expected it would be preserved in the Licensed Version

i can confirm that the folder will be replaced after update from 2144 to 2146

In licensed version is removed, also.

Thanks guys and this is important stuff (don´t want to rely on something that might clean out my files all of a sudden). Support, can you please verify how this works?
