I have hardly ever touched MS-Word documents in Aware. Have usually done everything in standard reports.
Trying to set up a MS-Word template with a Sub Report in it.
I have the Sub Report created... called 'Word_SR_Alternatives'
I put the following in the report to embed the sub report ....
<<SUB_DOCUMENT(FIND Alternative WHERE Alternative.ob_Evaluation=Evaluation, 'Word_SR_Alternatives')>>
But get an error in both V6 and V7 ...
Invalid Tag Expression SUB_DOCUMENT(FIND Alternative WHERE Alternative.ob_Evaluation=Evaluation, ‘Word_SR_Alternatives’) in document null
I have also tried with quotes around the query as follows...
<<SUB_DOCUMENT('FIND Alternative WHERE Alternative.ob_Evaluation=Evaluation', 'Word_SR_Alternatives')>>
The docs are quite clear....
"1. Identifier of the list or a string identifying the query (either Rule Language string or the name of the existing query). List members of business objects found by a query serve as the data source for the sub-document
- Name of the document template identifying the sub-document.
I am guessing the problem is some stupid little thing but cannot find it.
Any ideas please.
