Can I use JS in V7 to call a Kendo component

Looking @ the Kendo docs, I see some neat message boxes, etc.

So, my question, can I write some JS to call a kendo component and run that function from my aware application?

I figure since I can easily add a button to call an aware process, it should not be THAT difficult to call some code to run an Kendo componet. Right? RIGHT????
