Menu Item in Query has Condition that is not Re-evaluated

I have a query, with a menu and have a condition on the menu: LoggedInRegularUser.selectedItem IS DEFINED

When I click on an item in the query, it does update the selectedItem attribute, but the menu item is not displayed. How can I conditionally display menus depending on a changing value?

Can you be more specific with your question? Have you been able to get conditional display of query menu options to work at all? Or, are you talking about refreshing query menu options being refreshed when some process is run that does updating when a query item is clicked.

Sorry, let me explain,

I have a query, when it start, no record is selected. I have a menu option Lets call it "A" that will run a process on the selected record.

When a record is selected, I have a default action that will I store that record in an attribute in the LoggedInRegularUser.

In the menu item for "A" i have a condition:
LoggedInRegularUser.selectedItem IS DEFINED

I have the query AutoRefresh set to run when the Process (that updates the LoggedInRegularUser) is run. However, the button for my Process is never enabled. I did test, and if I come into the query with the SelectedItem set, then the button is displayed.

Did I explain it any better?
