putting % in Format multiplies the # by 100

I want to display a number with a % sign after it. However if I add a % to the format, then the number is multiplied by 100 in the display. (so, 6.1 is displayed as 610%) Since I allow inline editing in the query, when I click to edit the field, then it displays properly (6.1 without the % sign).

Anyone know how to fix this?

Bruce, in my app, I needed to show "%" or "Pounds" or "Inches" and etc. after certain attributes to make sure users knows what the data is all about and I chose the simple way of using the Help/tooltip in presentation as following. This may help you!
